Stay Healthy, Stay Warm, and, if sick - Stay Home
Winter has finally arrived and WOW - it is cold outside! Please be sure your kids dress in layers and have coats, hats, and gloves every day, (leaving the shorts and tank-tops at home). Although we have indoor recess during the very cold days, there is always the possibility that we may have to go outside unexpectedly. Without winter clothes, your children will quickly become very cold with their heads, arms or legs exposed to the weather. This is especially important if they ride the bus or walk to school. Also, please send shoes with them to change into if they wear their snow boots to school, so that they do not have to keep those clunky, snowy boots on all day.
Another reminder, please screen your kids at home before sending them to school if they are feeling unwell. We want to see our students at school every day, but if they are having symptoms like a fever or vomiting, they need to stay home. Staying home when sick will allow them to rest and get to feeling better. Staying home when sick also helps prevent them making their friends sick too. Have a wonderful and healthy Christmas break --- See you for our second semester on Monday, January 6th, 2025 !
We work hard! We play hard! We are GC!
