GC Wellness Committee needs YOU!

The Green City R-1 School’s Wellness Committee meets four times per year to ensure our school's wellness program continues to meet District requirements. These meetings are open to the general public and everyone is welcome to attend. The Wellness Committee includes school administration, coaches, dietary, teachers, parents, district citizens, and students. 

We encourage at least two high school student representatives to join the committee. Unfortunately, students often leave our Wellness Committee upon graduation. Students, please check with your individual program sponsors to determine if membership would count toward any volunteer obligation requirements. We welcome high school students and members of our community to join us. 

Meetings start at 3:30 pm and last less than thirty minutes. If you would like to join our Wellness Committee, or know any interested high school students (at least 9th grade), please contact our Superintendent Tennille Banner by calling 660-874-4128 or via email: tbanner@greencity.k12.mo.us . You can also just come to a meeting and join us then.
